Using Pt100 platinum RTD sensing technology, our Air Temperature sensor is easy to install and provides a robust, accurate, repeatable detection of such an important parameter in post-harvest applications.
A constant Air Temperature is essential for a predictable ripening or long term storage process, as it is the air temperature that essentially controls the internal pulp temperature of the fruit. During ripening the air temperature is usually within 15°C - 25°C which helps accelerate the ripening, whereas during long term storage this temperature is generally between 1°C – 10°C.
The temperature sensor is easy to install and provides a robust, accurate, repeatable detection of such an important parameter in post-harvest applications.
