Looking for FreshView® sensors only?
We offer a range of high-quality Australian-made sensors for use in conjunction with, or independent of, the FreshView® EC12 Environmental Controller. Sensors are available for the detection of ripening gas (ethylene), carbon dioxide, temperature, relative humidity, pulp temperature and oxygen.
Each sensor provides an analogue output signal and is housed in an enclosure that provides suitable protection against water and dust ingress (IP651 ). Sensors can be interfaced with other monitoring and control systems.

Sensors are typically categorised under the following areas.
-
Gas Sensors (transmitters)
There are a broad range of gas sensors (transmitters) on the market utilising different sensing technologies. Depending on the type of technology used in the gas sensor (transmitter) will determine how accurate, repeatable and specific the sensor will be. We utilise the latest sensing technology across our gas sensor range to ensure reliable monitoring and control for ripening, de-greeing, controlled atmosphere (CAS) and general storage of fruit and vegetables.
-
Ethylene Sensor (ripening/de-greening)
(PDS-EC-TX-RG10/100/1000)
Using the latest gas sensing detection technology, our ethylene gas sensor is suitable for monitoring & controlling levels of ethylene gas for ripening, de-greening and general storage applications.
: -
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Sensor
(PDS-EC-TX-CO2)
Using NDIR sensing technology, our Carbon Dioxide (CO2) sensor is suitable for monitoring the respiration rate of climacteric fruits during the ripening process.
-
Oxygen (O2) Sensor
(PDS-EC-TX-O2)
Using Capillary Flow Control sensing technology, our Oxygen (O2) sensor is suitable for monitoring the respiration rate of climacteric fruits during the ripening process.
